Your gonna hate me on this answer...lol.

ALL OF THE ABOVE! I'm currently 40 lbs fatter than my pic and want to be bulkier than I was then... Since I ride long distance races I need to have extremely good endurance and upper body strengh because I've got to man handle a 250 lb dirt bike for up to 6 hours..

After reading all of the above posts, here's all of the advice I can give you...

1.) Don't lift until the wrist is healed up. Trust me I've lifted through injuries. All it does is make it worse and limit what you can do. Just start the cardio now and wait until it heals up before you start lifting and taking the supplements. If you're looking to bulk up and lose fat this gives you a perfect opportunity to cut and lose the fat. If you still wanna do 2 workouts a day you can do aerobic type stuff in the morning as long as it doesnt involve using your wrist. For example, you could do things like crunches, leg raises, calf raises, stair jumps, jumping jacks, etc.

2.) Don't use the supplements yet. Wait until it heals just in case you are on any medication or your doctor prescribes you some. I know you're supposed to discontinue use 2 weeks before and after surgery so I wouldnt use them just in case something goes wrong and you need another surgery.

3.) Not sure how much experience you have with lifting but when you finally do start to hit the weights you should get a program. I've actually heard "dogcrap" training is pretty good for people looking to bulk up. There's actually a post about it on this forum somewhere too... Anyways the only program that I can really recommend not knowing your circumstances is the 5/3/1 program. I know from my own experience with riding a bike (mountain, not dirt haha) that your back can tend to get sore. Having a strong back would definitely help. I've used it on Deadlifts before and added 30 pounds to my max in 3 weeks.

Anyways I hope this helps, good luck with your races, and I hope your wrist heals soon!
